A lot of people ask me, what do I do for my job. and I always have a hard time finding that one word or one sentence that perfectly describes it. Now that I have submitted my 2-week notice, I was told by my boss to write a list of everything that I do and how I do it. I am amazed at how much. I’ve learned during the time I’m at The Augusta Chronicle. I will continue to cherish the experience and all the awesome colleagues here.
Today is my last day at the chronicle. I’m feeling extremely attached to this place. It’s a mixture of sad & happy feelings, kinda like a graduation all over again. Still, words can’t describe the joy I felt when I received an offer letter from TaxSlayer. I accepted a new position at TaxSlayer as the Web Performance Analyst. I will still be in the CSRA, but now I’ll be traveling to Evans to work as supposed to downtown Augusta. This new job is a life-changer for me. Words can’t describe how much enthusiasm I have for TaxSlayer. I have to say I love downtown. Working downtown has always been enjoyable, convenient and festive for me.
Leaving downtown and of course my teammates here at The Augusta Chronicle is a bitter sweet moment for me, but I’ll still be around to take Spotted photos for events around town! You’ll see me again before you even know it! The teams I worked with here have been awesome. It’s a shame to depart from them, but I know this is not Goodbye to the Chronicle, it’s just see you later.
